I used the app to upload directly into the media library, instead of trying to do it while writing a post. This time the upload appears to have worked, and I have validated the clip’s existence on desktop. Now let’s see if I can embed the fucker. Nope! WTAF?! Hmmm. Edit: the video upload failed. Maybe cuz too big? Dunno, cuz no damn info was provided! Right. So let’s try it again with a very short video. Upload via app failed again. File size is definitely below the site’s max threshold. Conversely: upload of same clip WORKED from desktop. Grrrr.
